It’s some time since Charlotte and Mark were married back at the start of December last year but here are a few of my favourites from their Wedding at Ash Church and Nursted Court.
The classic red and white colours of Christmas influenced Charlottes wedding colour theme and looked beautiful, she looked every bit a 50s film star with her striking red lipstick, perfect for a winters day. The other apparent theme for the day was Winnie the Pooh, along with Mark’s little Pooh badge the reception tables had all been customised to express their fondness of this little character. It doesn’t end there though as the Vicar devoted a substantial chunk of the service to her Tigger collection and one of the readings was a poem about Pooh! It’s safe to say they are fans, and who can blame them, they are adorable!
I photograph a lot of church weddings which then often has the reception held in a marquee, this was no exception. Although you can have the ceremony at Nursted Court they also have a marquee out in the large garden with a beautiful view overlooking farmland. Although winter weddings don’t lend themselves to wandering about outside for long, Mark and Charlotte were happy to take walk just as the sun was setting to have a few couple photos which was perfect!
As a wedding photographer I don’t often get a thank you during the speeches so it was really kind of Mark to include that and very much appreciated!
As Charlotte was expecting her second baby at the time of the wedding I’d just like to wish them all the very best and hope everything goes well for you all!
