Marianne and Sebastian’s church wedding in Staplehurst, Kent took place way back in September. I had met them along with Sebastians parents a little time before and thought what a sweet couple they were.
On a warmish day I drove over to Sebastians parents house to capture some photos of Marianne and her bridesmaids getting ready, the conservatory and kitchen becoming mini salons. Once all the girls make up was applied and their hair done I left what was a very calm environment to make my way down to the church.
Sebastian was already there meeting guests as they arrived and looked very smart in his blue suit. Despite a few nerves, when he saw Marianne his reaction said it all and they clearly adore each other. With the ceremony completed it was outside for a few group photos before the couple made their way down the church path while being pelted with rice! Poor Marianne found her hair to be full of it once they got to their reception, all caught in her beehive which took a bit of work to remove.
Mariannes family are from Norway and other friends and family had travelled from all over the place to celebrate with them. The garden looked lovely and everyone was able to enjoy drinks and canapés outside before moving into the marquee for afternoon tea.
This was a fairly low key wedding in terms of how the day progressed as the happy couple were leaving for their honeymoon in Cyprus at 6pm so that sort of marked the end of the celebrations.
