Emily and Rob chose a lake in Harrietsham near to their home for their pre wedding shoot as they had enjoyed walks up there before and felt it was a lovely spot for some photographs, it even showed signs of spring with the snow drops in evidence.
I met up with them both last summer to discuss their wedding plans but in fact I used to babysit for Rob when I was in my teens so it wasn’t my fist time meeting him, it was the first time seeing him since then though. They really make a wonderful couple and I’m so looking forward to photographing their wedding at Kent’s Chilham Village Hall in June.
‘Pre wedding’ or ‘engagement’ photography is included in my top wedding package but is also an optional extra for any couple booking me as their wedding photographer. I find it a great way to get to know the couple a little better and for them to also get to know me before the wedding day. It’s always a relaxed affair, concentrating on giving the couple a few tips without lots of unnatural poses which would make them feel awkward.
